Despite Twitch’s policy on gambling sending former stars like xQc and multitudes of viewers to its increasingly popular rival Kick, the Amazon-owned firm has now enforced even stricter rules. On Wednesday,?Twitch?Support announced via Twitter that the firm has added online casinos Blaze and Gamdom to its list of prohibited sites:

The addition of Blaze and Gamdom, Twitch revealed, is a result of streamers attempting to find new strategies to sneak gambling content onto the platform. In the statement confirming the ban, Twitch said its aim remains to address “predatory behavior.” Blaze and Gamdom now join Stake, Roobet, Duelbits, and Rollbit?on Twitch’s list of forbidden brands.

Kick was formed in the same month as the ban and immediately drew a mass exodus

While Twitch continues the anti-gambling crusade it launched in October, the brand that policy spawned continues to grow. Alternative streaming platform Kick was formed in the same month as the ban and immediately drew a mass exodus of creators from Twitch. Most recently, the Stake-backed site inked a $100m partnership with former Twitch superstar xQc in June.
