DraftKings has signed a partnership with the Tulalip Tribes of Washington, which will allow the operator to open a retail sportsbook at the Tulalip Resort Casino. The sportsbook will encompass 5,000 square feet and have a 50-foot video wall, over two dozen self-service kiosks, and several teller windows. There are also plans to open another sportsbook at the Quil Ceda Creek Casino, though it is only in the very early planning phase. Both of these sportsbooks will need to get the relevant regulatory approvals.

PointsBet announced on Thursday that it has partnered with Penn National Gaming to get market access to the online market in Pennsylvania. It also revealed that it has received licensing approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. There is no indication yet as to when PointsBet will launch its online casino and sportsbook.

Yet another state entry for DraftKings

Washington will be the 19th state in which DraftKings has a sportsbook up and running. Retail sportsbooks have been open in Washington since September, with nine tribes signing sports betting compacts with the state.

DraftKings director of retail sportsbooks Michael Kibort spoke about this new partnership in Washington. Referring to the collaboration with the Tulalip Tribes of Washington, he said: “We look forward to bringing the very best in real-money gaming experiences to a state with a passionate fanbase spanning major professional sports leagues.”
